Kreas stamnas

  • 1 kg lamb diced in cubes
  • ½ kg pork diced in cubes
  • 1 large grated onion
  • 3 large grated tomatoes or a tin of chopped tomatoes
  • 4-5 crushed cloves of garlic
  • 4 tbsp of tomato puree
  • 120 ml of good olive oil
  • 1 tbsp of salt
  • 1 tbsp of dried oregano
  • 1 tsp of black peppar
  • ½ dl of red wine (optional)

    This is very easy. Put all the ingredients into a large pot and cover with water.

  1. Bring to boil and cook for the next 30 minutes.
  2. Now transfer it all into ovenproof pot or casserole dish and place in oven at 150 degrees(Celcius) for about two hours.

        You can add some half boiled potatoes to get ready in the stew in the end. You can also serve with rice.

        Don´t forget tsatsiki and a greek salad.   

        Cooking cannot get easier than this.
